Happy Friday, friends. It feels like it’s been a really long time. I feel like I say that every week, but it really has. A lot has been happening. A lot has been changing. A lot has been shifting with me. 

This past week, I actually went to a traditional birth workers intensive with my midwife. Well, I was my own midwife. For my last birth, I did an unassisted home birth. But for my daughter’s birth, my lovely, beautiful black midwife, I went in and learned from her. That experience was incredible. It was incredible. So I have a passion for birth. 

A few years ago, I actually was going to pursue going to midwifery school. However, I realized that I wasn’t really interested in being a licensed midwife. I knew that I would have an unassisted home birth.  I knew that if I needed to support anybody in birth, and they asked me to do so, not legally trying to be somebody’s midwife, but if somebody needed my help, then I would help them. But I wasn’t interested in going through any kind of racist systems or schools that weren’t really built for us in order to get a license for something that I know from experience. Okay. I’ve studied it, and then I’ve also walked my talk, right? I’ve birthed four different times. 

I did my own prenatal care and two pregnancies. I know the body. I know anatomy and physiology. I know health. So I’m just coming to share that. Just building with other birth workers and just spending a weekend really deeply studying black traditional midwifery was so soothing to my soul. It was so soothing, like, it doesn’t even make any sense how soothing it was. 

It was just confirmation of everything that I know and everything that I do and all of the initiations that I have gone through to get to this point. I’m really excited to continue to teach about ancestral medicine as it relates to the entire body, especially from a woman’s perspective for black women.

The new website is ready. So, I guess when you’re listening to this, I probably will make it live. I’m just sitting on it for a second. I’m savoring it. It’s nice. It finally feels like me. It’s been a really long time, and I got so much in store for you all. I can’t even tell you all, everything that’s about to come, but you just got to wait and see. 

I’ve gone through so many shifts and changes, and I don’t even know how to explain my journey up until this point. I just need you all to know that everything that you have gone through was not by accident. You have been growing all along. You have been healing all along. You have been changing all along. I’ve been in my chrysalis this entire time, I have been in my chrysalis. Now, it’s time for me to bloom. It’s time for me to bloom, y’all. You just got to wait and see what’s up. This is the most full my life has ever been. This is the most peace my life has ever been. 

I have so many people writing me to work with me, and I’m not taking clients like that anymore. I will take a select few. When I say everything that I do is intentional, I am not taking on any misfit clients, okay? I have did that in the past, and I’m not doing that anymore. 

If you are not serious about this mission, if you are not in alignment with this mission, you got to find somebody else. There’s no more compromise. There’s no more sacrifice on this side. I’m very clear on who I help. I’m very clear on what it is that I do, and I’m very clear on what my spiritual assignment is. Is that true for you? 

I think it’s really important that I set this tone before this new version is share it with the public. I want to let you all know, like, I’m not the same person. I’m not who you think I am. If you thought you knew me, you have no idea. You have no idea. 

Everything is changing. When I say I’m about to help a whole lot of people get ready, because I don’t care what anybody thinks anymore. I’m not biting my tongue anymore. I don’t care who doesn’t believe what. I don’t care who is offended by what. I don’t care about any of that. I care about helping the people who I was put on this earth to help, loving and nurturing my children and husband, loving and nurturing myself. That’s it. I’m focused on fulfilling my spiritual assignment and doing it well. Doing it, and doing it, and doing it well. 

Anyway, I need you to know that spirit is talking to me. So clearly, spirit is guiding me like never before. Not even. But I’m just listening now. Right before, I was a little hard. Before I was distracted. Before I was, like, too busy caring about the Joneses or whatever the hell you want to call it. But so very clear. I’m so very clear. I’m focused. I’m focused, man. 

I want you to get ready. If you are ready for your life to be changed, you might want to stay close. If you are afraid or offended by the truth, you might want to find somebody else. I’m not interested in holding on to anything that is not for me. I hope you’re not either. It’s too much world for that. Too many people in the world for that. It’s too much space and trust in the universe for that. All right. Ancestral medicine is here. 

I’m the chosen one when I tell you the things that I’m about to start sharing. They came through me. I didn’t find them anywhere. They came through me. You will not get what I’m about to give you from anywhere else. That’s true spiritual connection. That’s true channeling. That’s true divine alignment. That’s the truth. Right? 

I am so excited. I got so much to do, and I’m just getting started, y’all. We are ten years in, and I’m just getting started. What is this? What is this? I guess we don’t find out together. All right, I’m going to go put this work in because I got some medicine to make. But I just want to thank you for being here. Thank you for tuning in.
