welcome to the new anuuma.com - let's heal
The Medicine Woman and Master Herbalist that is dedicated to breaking generational curses for the Diaspora.
Welcome to another episode. Today we go on unscripted. I don’t have no idea. I don’t have any plans for this episode. I just need to talk to you. I just need to talk to you for a second, just for a second.
You know what? I want to talk to you. I’m doing free training in May. I’m doing a free training for all of the doctors, for all of the wellness practitioners, for all of the holistic practise nurse, for all of the wellness coaches, for all of the health coaches, for all the holistic nutritionists, for all of the nurses, to show you why ancestral medicine, to show you how ancestral medicine is the most effective healing modality for your clients and your patients.
I’m going to blow your mind. Let me tell you why this is so important. This is so important because so many doctors go to medical school and only learn how to prescribe drugs. They go to medical school and they only learn how to address, suppress and eradicate symptoms.
I don’t mean doing that from a root cause, and I don’t mean doing that with the foundation of doing no harm. I mean, they do that by any means necessary. Whether it causes side effects or not, whether it causes more disease or not, whether it addresses the root cause or not.
Ancestral medicine is the key. It is the solution. It is the root to healing all disease within the body.
This is why there are doctors in the program right now. Like, “I didn’t learn any of this in medical school. I’m so excited that I’m now learning how to heal myself so that now I can better help my patients. Now I can provide them with the tools and the resources and the solutions so that they could heal for good, too.”
It’s so unethical to have somebody come to you for healing and you have no clue on how to help them heal. Like, how can you feel good in your body knowing what you’re doing every single day? Especially if you went to medical school because you wanted to help people.
My daughter always talks about, “Mom, I want to be a doctor like you.” When you’re a child, you have this vision where you want to grow up and be a doctor because you want to help people. You want to be that person.
Then you go through medical school, you got six figures in debt and you making rounds and you are miserable. You are making rounds and you’re seeing people like clockwork, but you’re not making an impact in their lives. It’s in and out. In and out, in and out. You barely know your patients. How are you going to help them in 15 minutes? How will you ever get to know somebody in 15 minutes to be able to address what is really happening? Because the nurse’s intake form don’t give you enough information.
You all don’t ask the right questions. I need you all to know. The reason why doctors are joining the Ancestral Medicine Certification Program is because they are committed to making a difference.
I was sitting down and I was talking to my husband and I was like “I feel, like, so sad that this is the medical industry. I feel so sad that people are really trusting their lives with doctors.”
One of the leading causes of death is doctors. It’s malpractice, it’s mistreatment, it’s prescribing things that kill and not addressing the root cause.
One of the foundational things that I teach my students in the Ancestral Medicine Certification program is that you do no harm. You do no harm, okay? With medicine, with herbs, with your ego. If you don’t know something, you say that, right?
If you don’t have the experience with that ailment yet, you say that. This is how we bring the ethics back into health care. This is how we bring the health back into health care. It’s not about prescribing drugs. It’s not about getting people in and out faster and faster.
That’s not health, because health, to me, is about longevity. Health, to me, is about sustainability.
If you are going to a doctor, and their only goal is to get you in and out the door, that’s a conflict. It’s a conflict.
We cannot change the state of health, health care or wellness for the people if we’re not in it for the people. That’s the difference between me and somebody in the hospital. I’m going to take my time with you. I need to know what’s up. I need to know where the ailment came from, how did it manifest? How did it get here? What is the root cause? Is your trauma contributing to what you’re growing through?
Do we need to do some energetic work? Do we need to address the spiritual, do we need to address the emotional before we can even touch the physical?
There’s so many people who keep trying to do the physical things and they keep ending them right back at the starting point because they’re not addressing or looking at the entire full picture.
What that means is that when we look at healing from a holistic point of view, like, truly holistic, it’s a lot of buzzwords out here. It’s a lot of greenwashing out here. It’s a lot of people saying that they are holistic practitioners or that they’re holistic in nature, but they don’t consider the whole being, the whole person, the whole situation, the whole history.
Everything needs to be considered when we talk about holistic healing. That’s the difference, okay? That is the difference between you going to a doctor and you coming to me.
This is why people pay me to really see them. They will pay me to work with them for an entire year.
I have entrepreneurs that pay me on retainer so that I can make sure that they are well all the time because when they go to the doctor, nobody sees them. Nobody cares enough. They don’t have the time.
I could tell you from experience, the doctors in the program want to help people but they don’t have the knowledge, right? They’ll come to me and be like “People will ask me, what can I do holistic? Or what kind of holistic things can I do to heal?” And they’re like “I don’t have that knowledge. I don’t have that information. I can’t give you that”.
I want you to think about, what did you go to school for? You went to school to learn how to prescribe drugs. You went to school to learn how to address and suppress and soothe symptoms, but you never learned root cause healing.
That’s a problem. It’s a problem. It’s also a problem that you got to think about. The fact that I teach ancestral medicine, the foundation of the medical system was built on experimentation of our ancestors.
That’s why it’s so important for you to get back to ancestral medicine.
It’s not about being mad at the doctors, because that’s all they know. That’s all they know.
That’s why I invite you all to join me in this program, so you can know something different, so you could learn something different, so you could get back to yourself, back to your roots. Come back home, come back home. It’s all on you.
If we don’t take responsibility to change the state of our health, especially for our community, we’re going to be gone. We’re going to be gone.
I could say that because I’m so frustrated at the fact that my family knows how many people I’ve helped. My family knows what I can do. But they still would rather go get invasive surgeries than change their lifestyle.
That’s a problem. They still see the doctor as the expert, even when the doctor has no clue on prevention, the doctor has no education on nutrition. Like, they still see the doctor as the expert and will rather get freaking open heart surgery or get cancer cut out than address the root cause.
I need you to know that when you don’t address the root cause, it always comes back. When you don’t address the root cause, it always comes back. I will keep saying that until y’all get it. I will keep saying it until you get it. When you don’t address the root cause, it always comes back.
It always comes back. That’s the same thing for trauma. That’s the same thing for emotional, mental sadness, imbalances, disorders.
When you don’t address the root cause, it will always come back.
You could give anybody any drug you want, you could throw any herb you want at it. When you do not address the root cause, y’all say it with me, it always comes back. That’s what karma means. That’s that spiritual implication. That’s what energetic cycles. That’s what that’s about. It’s because you didn’t learn a spiritual lesson, you didn’t make a change.
You’re doing the same thing and expecting something different. How is that serving you? How? It’s not right. So you have to address the root cause. That’s what I teach you in the Ancestral Medicine Woman Certification Program, how to address the root cause, whether you got herbs or not. Whether you have herbs or not.
Ancestral Medicine Woman got you because you know all of the protocols, you know all of the ways to address the root cause, to find and uncover the root cause, whether you got herbs or not, whether you have herbs in the kitchen or not, whether you’re in a foreign place or not, whether you know how to forage or not.
You know how to heal any single ailment because you got ancestral medicine. That’s the difference.
When doctors start to implement this into their practice, we get to change the medical system.
This is why the program is open to, yes, holistic practitioners, but to medical professionals. Because we need you all if you all are going to be in there, we need you all to infiltrate from the inside and we need you to change the system, because you are a black woman who are serving other black women who need true health care and no more experimentation.
Black women needs true health care.
We are done being experimented on. I need you all to feel that they’re out here putting you on birth control because they don’t want to address the root cause. We are here on birth control, and then we end up with fibroids, and then we got endometriosis, and then we got ovarian cysts, and we got all of these things because we were doing all these artificial things, trying to get an artificial result.
Instead of addressing the root cause and healing for good, I want you to sit with that.
What does that mean for you? What does that look like for you to address the root cause in all areas of your life? How will your life change if you do that?
If you just slow down a little bit to speed up.
That’s the remedy for a lot of people. That’s the medicine for most. Slow down to speed up because it’ll give you all of the perspective you need.
I tell my students this every single week, perspective is the medicine. How can you see this differently? And when you start to see things differently, life changes for you.
You start to experience life differently, and then you get everything that you’ve ever wanted in life.
You get health, you get wealth, you get true wellness, you get true peace, and you deserve all of that.
All right, I love you, and I’ll see you in the next episode. Peace.
